DueDateLab is for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no calculator on this site is a diagnostic tool.

What that means in practice

  • A due-date estimate is not a confirmed due date. Your OB or midwife confirms dating with an early ultrasound.
  • A growth percentile is a snapshot, not a report card, and a single reading cannot diagnose a growth concern. Trends over time, assessed by a pediatrician, are what matter.
  • Sleep-needs ranges are population-level guidance. Healthy children vary; edge-of-range is usually fine. Concerns about your child's sleep belong with your pediatrician.
  • The Chinese Gender Chart is a cultural novelty, not a predictor. Studies rate its accuracy at roughly that of a coin flip. Use an ultrasound or NIPT if you want a real answer.

Always consult a qualified clinician

For any decision involving your health or your child's health, speak with a licensed medical professional who knows you and your full history. Do not delay seeking or disregard advice from a clinician because of something you read or calculated on DueDateLab.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in the EU, 999 in the UK) or go to the nearest emergency room.

No doctor–patient relationship

Using DueDateLab does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and DueDateLab or anyone associated with DueDateLab.
